Defense Specific Movement Program - SUMMER 2025

Program Description

-Sessions will focus on the key backwards movement concepts for defensive hockey athletes in both open space, and small spaces where evasive movement is needed

- The above concepts will then be applied in game relevant situational and small area patterns such as defensive escapes in the neutral zone and defensive zone, line walks and creation of offense in the offensive zone etc.

-Certified, energetic PS Coaches

-Maximum quality repetition and positive feedback

-4-1 player to coach ratio

-Maximum of 12 athletes on the ice

A) Fridays - July 4 - August 1

     July 4, 4:15 - 6:30 PM @ Callingwood Arena

     July 11, 4:15 - 6:30 PM @ Callingwood Arena

     July 18, 7:15 - 9:30 PM @ Mark Messier Arena - St. Albert

     July 25, 5:00 - 7:15 PM @ Kinsmen Arena

     August 1, 5:15 - 7:30 PM @ River Cree Arena

1 Week Programs

B) July 21 - 25 

     9:00 - 11:15 AM @ Kinex Arena - St. Albert

C) August 5 - 8 (4 day price $540)

     9:30 - 11:45 AM @ River Cree Arena

D) August 5 - 8 (4 day price $540)

     2:45 - 5:00 PM @ Jarome Iginla - St. Albert

*** Perfect Skating jerseys must be worn for all  programs.  Jerseys will be provided to all new program participants, and on request for returning participants if they require a new set****
